Description:
The Bakery Dept. Buyer/Merchandiser is responsible for the exceptional execution of Guest Service by the entire Department. They are responsible for co-Leading the Team, and will be driven to make sure all Team Members receive proper training and supervision. They will also serve as the Buyer for the department and assist the Team Leader in meeting the financial goals. They will ensure the highest level of execution in merchandising and Guest Service. In the absence of the Bakery Team Leader, the Bakery Dept. Buyer/Merchandiser will assume additional responsibilities.

What you will bring:
Ability to manage multiple detailed and consistently updated essential documents simultaneously, including order guides, logs, SOPs, and further.
Ability to collaborate closely with Team Leader on any and all issues related to purchasing, project execution, and conditions on the sales floor.
Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break – we work on the floor, and alongside our team.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, Store Leadership and Director Group.
