About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

• Part-Time or Full-time, year round.
• Squamish, BC.
• $17.40 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience and availability.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

The Perfect Candidate: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Assist customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve to assist with purchasing decisions.
• A Market Team Member’s responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, organizing food displays, and stocking shelves with products for customers to buy.
• Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers.
• Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit.
• Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts.
• Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift.
• Maintaining and building various grocery department displays.
• Rotation, loading and unloading of grocery department product.
• Stock and replace products to avoid any damagesKeep shelves fully stocked with fresh products.
• Backroom and inventory management.
• Hot and cold food preparation, including sandwiches, chickens, salads, soups and specialty trays.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
