Our client specializes in the Plan. Design. Build. of environmentally controlled manufacturing and logistics facilities for the global food and pharmaceutical industries.

The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate budgets and estimates for a variety of project types including conceptual, Design-Build, Construction Management, Lump Sum, and Cost Plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare conceptual and detailed budgets and estimates for ICI Design-Build and Construction Management projects.
• Lead the estimating portion of pursuits, including reviewing RFPs, preparing proposals and presentations, and participating in client meetings.
• Develop subcontractor scopes, tender packages, and analyze results to ensure accurate coverage of the project scope.
• Maintain and refine internal cost databases to support future estimating accuracy.
• Support project scheduling, risk identification, and value engineering throughout pre-construction.
• Participate in post-project reviews to analyze estimating accuracy against actuals.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator or Senior Estimator in a General Contracting or Design-Build environment.
• Proven experience estimating complex ICI projects from ground-up, ideally including cold storage or food processing.
• Proficient in estimating software (PlanSwift, ProCore) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of site development, M&E systems, and building envelopes.
• Ability to manage multiple bids of varying sizes simultaneously.
• Familiar with Construction Management, Design-Build, Cost Plus, and Lump Sum delivery models.
• Designations such as PQS, CEC, or Gold Seal are considered assets.
